Has any one used Epsom salts on there plants I have been hearing some good things about using them
they are meant to help clear the build up of salts from roots and soil?

Has long has a plant is flushed on a regular basis then there is no need to add any salt of any kind.If you are growing in soil then it is easy to flush and feed at the same time.Just ph some water with nothing in it flush the plants with the water a good 2/3 time's then leave say in a bath for a hour then follow with fresh made nutrients ph'ed at the normal range.By doing this the plant's will only need one watering a week and before anyone says it all that water will do the plant no harm.I have done this for ages and i never have any problem's with salt build up's.Wait untill the plant is dry then re water with nutrients. But flush a good few time's through a grow.Flushing is not just for the last 1/2 week.

Epsom salt is a good bandaid for a Mag def, but would not use a lot of it, would be better to have a Ca/Mag suppliment

Will not remove salts from soil, it is salt so it will add to salt in soil and will require more flushing
