Epson salt alternative to prevent nute lockout?

Looking for a substitute for Epsom salt to spray on my plants to prevent Nute lockout asap. I have checked nearly EVERY store in the city I live in, and no one sells it. I wasn't to concerned on having this on hand before, since I thought it would be simple to find at any health/drug/gardening store. I could order some online, but think by then it might be to late. (this is for a hydroponics set up).

Anyone know of one?

how do epsom salts prevent nutrient lock out is what i'm wondering??

and yah, they should be able to be found at your local drug store.. sometimes they come in an old skool looking paper container like you'd find a half gallon of milk in back in the day..

If there is a shortage of magnesium in the plant´s nutritional intake, an early indication is the yellowing of leaves. It is easy to remedy any deficiency by feeding a dilute solution of Epsom salts, MgSO4, in a concentration of about a teaspoon to a gallon, two or three times in the growing season; a little goes a long way...got the info from the "Marijuana Grow Bible"

Yeah, been to grocery stores here as well..still nothing. Maybe if I just foliar feed with a very very diluted solution of nutes and water when the lights go out it might work. Worth a try on 1 plant...don't learn without experimenting :)

How did you come to the conclusion you have it? You flush with just water or add peroxide 3 tbs per gallon of water . Foiler feed 1/4 strength so she gets her npk. In a week flush and feed 1/4 strength. She'll be good to go.

Nice chart bigrake, TY. I just came to the conclusion that was the problem after reading many threads, along with the MJ grow bible...pics looked the same as the issue I was having.

I found my Epsom Salt at the local wellness shop, same place I found my Black strap Molasses, tho I had to ask for that and wait 3 days for them to order it home for me, I even had em look in to Kelp Meal for me but that seem to be asking to much of em :D

What kind of weird town has stores that do not sell Epsom salt?
There are probably 57 stores within 10 miles of my house that have Epsom salt.
Weird.

I use calmag which is carried by about 10 stores within a 10 mile radius.
