estimated flowering times??

I was just curious as to what people think and have experienced with their flowering times as related to the packaging. For instance a pack of skunk#1 estimates flowering time to be 50-55 days. How did they come up with these estimates? Are these just averages?

I am finishing 1 Masterkush, and 1 skunk#1. The Masterkush is pretty much there. Trichs are cloudy ,leaves yellowing and necrotic, 50% of the hairs are amber. But the skunk which went into flower the exact same time does not even have 1 amber hair. It is crystalized all to hell. The leaves are very thin. Looks all sativa. Just want to get some feedback on this. Thanx

I have skunk goin now i thought would be ready bout that time
they're now at 54 days ,100% red hairs for almost a week, all cloudy...no amber yet, from what i'm told @ 60 days should do it

every plant dif depends on growing conditions, how much light, crop with your heart

I am growing some greenhouseseeds Cheese right now and it says eight weeks to flower but I am eight weeks in now and its got a least another week or two.
