Ever grown White Rhino? Need harvest advice

So I have two plants. I'm thinking about leaving one of the two that got stressed for another 10 days because it seems a little slower growing. They are both at 8 1/2 weeks right now. Greenhouse says 8-9 weeks and the video on youtube says 8 weeks is enough but they can go 9-9 1/2. I don't want it to be heavy indica/heavy narcotic. But at the same time even at 8 1/2 weeks the one I have that seems about ready is not all that frosty with trichs. There are not many amber trichs either but I don't want it too couch locky. I am up at my cabin and when I leave will not return for another 10 days so that's why I have to maybe go ahead and chop this one.

If anyone knows this strain and has an opinion, thanks.


Doesn't it have a strange smell about it? It's very different.

Hi there, I am indeed growing White Rhino, just finished harvesting one plant about 30 mins ago. Personally I didn't find mine had a particularly odd smell but I'm not quite sure if this is the question...

I also just got done harvesting a white rhino. Thats weird that you say these things because mine were very frosty and had a potent smell. What kinda lighting do you have it on. If it gets poor light that could affect tric production and yeild. How dense are the buds? and if you could post pics that would help too

Can't post pics but the smell is not a typical skunk or haze smell to me... It's very sweet smelling to me and gives more the impression that it's going to be some intense smoke. The buds are pretty dense but I would say not too frosty. Wish I could post pics but I'm unable to.

Just wanted to revive this and say that my WR was harvested at 8 1/2 weeks. Funny thing is there's almost no smell after a few days of drying. I can pinch the buds of other plants drying and they put off the stink but the WR is not letting off any smell... It seemed trich covered with some amber when I harvested but from the smell you wouldn't think it is going to have any kick at all.

im currently growing white rhino too, and they seem a lot smaller than all others i have grown at this stage, they look and smell nice but they just seem small

It's all about the pheno you getand growing factors...when you find a good pheno(uaually will take a pack to) white rhino will kick your ass.

I just harvested a couple white rhinos as well. Mine went for about nine weeks and could have gone a week longer. They were WAY too couchlock for me (10%amber...80%cloudy) but had a really good yield with VERY dense buds and a really potent smell like some others mentioned.

PS....took FOREVER to dry....

im on week 7 of flowering, the plants are just shorter than others i have grown, i watched i video on utube from the creator of white rhino who said they are a shorter plant. But the buds look and smell really nice so far. They are growing in hydro with a 1000 watt metal halide lamp, ph is around the 5.6-6.0, the room is well ventelated.

has anyone grown any purple power or other purple varieties? are they any good ? or are there any growing problems different to other plants? because thats what i want to try next

Been Doing Rhino For Ages @ Its The Most Sugary @ Sweet Skunky Plant Av Ever Grown @ Av Grown A Lot Of Good Strains

RHINO IS A SATIVA MATE 9 WEEK AT LEAST,ANYTHING U WANNA NO JUST ASK.U WANNA STAKE THEM UP EARLY COZ AS SOON AS YA FLOWERS GET HEAVY THEY WILL FALL ' IF U SUPPORT HER SHE CAN JUST GET ON WITH GROWING HER LOVELY SKUNKY FLOWERS.U NO WEN U HAVE A GOOD RHINO STRAIN WEN THEY STINK @ HAVE SUGAR ON THE LEAF WEN THEY R 5 INCHES HIGH @2 WEEKS OLD,IVE NEVER FOUND A MORE SUGARY PLANT,A JUST GOT THE 7 BAG SET OF BUBBLEBAGS @ USED THE TRIM @ LITTLE CRAPPY BUDS @ A GOT A BIG LUMP OF PURE GOLD HASH

Dude, WHITE RHINO is not even close to Sativa. It is a heavy Indica, with ridiculously wide and round fan leaves. I could name it Indica from a mile away from the plant because of the short, stalk bushiness of the plant. Don't give people advice if you don't know what your talking about.

I'm just starting growing again .I used to grow standard blueberry,northern lights #5,Afghan.This time around i'm excited about growing White Rhino from Greenhouse,Sensi's G13x Hash plant and God bud.This will keep me in premium budha and cloning all three will be a pleasure.Peace:weed:

Just finished my WR. Harvested some at 7 weeks. Some at 10. Both excellent. Soaring cerebral followed by a VERY relaxing body. The 10 week was about 30% stronger. Not alot of smell. Very minty almost menthol smoke. Definately an evening smoke. No hangover either. Completely covered in trichs. Mine also took a while to completely dry and cure... but worth the wait!
