okay yea my 400w hid light isnt turning on its just clicking and flashing the bulb....my plants are budding and wtf...its like an hour past turn on time.....i try to call htg supply and of course wtf they dont answer the phone..HELP

I take it you checked all of the connections?

Try getting a new bulb? Apparently Home Depot sells them.

unplug the light,, wait 15 minutes,, the plug in,, you may need to keep trying that..............................................................................................

ok ty yea i was basically unplugging and plugging it back in..it finally came back on i tried a different power surge cord i think it carries more volts cause the one i had was cheap but it worked in the expensive one...but then y wouldnt it turn on in the actual socket to the wall? is there a fuse that could be going bad in my ballast? ty for the fast replies also. got 6 budding ladies in there and i was freaking out

Yeah if you have a surge or extension cord hooked up it often won't work. The HTG ballasts need to pull every last drop of current out of your outlet to power up those bulbs. If it doesn't get enough juice right away then it will flicker or stay in that kinda mid light status but never go fully on.

I have the same light and the older it gets the more times I have to plug and unplug it to get full power.

and yeah I don't even use a timer anymore I'm all manual for this very reason.
