I was thinking about biological evolution the other night, and was posting about it in another thread, but one thing about it is that, do you guys think that at one point biological evolution stops, maybe keeps going, but its so slow.. Anyways, do you think that when we have become capable of technology helping our senses, there is no need for biological evolution? I'm guessing in 50-100 years there will be machines that aid our living to the point of almost super-humans. Maybe helping us see without flaw hundreds of miles, perhaps through walls. Perhaps let us zone our ears to further away, to make the ears more sensative and more direct, able to hear through walls or further away.
Maybe it will be made to where we can live forever, or self destruct if we wish.
People are currently working on this kind of thing, I feel as if it is actually natural because the biological advancements are what made it develop.
Technological Singularity is I guess what I am getting at. It just seems very plausible. Heres an article that is much much much more in depth than what I am saying. Its quite interesting.
