exhaust fan

how do you wire an exhaust fan for a grow box...do i need to wire it to the electrical box or can i just cut the cord off the extension cord and wire as such...

come on any body out there....its 2 in the morning in hawaii...and im trying ti figure this out before sun light...

what kind of exhaust fan is it?

is it like a computer fan cus if it is you can just attach it to a 9V battery lol

no why is computer fan cheaper than a bathroom exhaust fan...it does like 60 cfm...its 12 dollars at home depot..

if its 2 wires on it. then just buy a plug, screw open the plug then there are 3 places for the 2 wires to go, none in earth one..
doesnt matter if u put it in the wrong ones first it just wont work til they are right.

also when attachin fan to box put a lite layer of rubber between fan and wood so it wont make loads of rattling noise.

yes a computer fan would b like 5$ cheaper, but the bathroom fan would be twice as strong go for the bathroom fan.. thats what i use...

add 2 or 3 holes down the bottom of grow box twice the size of exhaush hole, and the exhaust will suck in new air..

ventilation sorted..
