Exhaust

Hey guys, how do I set up my exhaust in a garage with a lung room and 2 tents (4x4 and 4x.

I currently have my 4x4 running and 4x8 set up and getting ready to transition into flowering. I have my 4x4 exhausting into the garage with. 6” 400cfm in-line fan but need to dial everything in. Was just about to order an 8” AC infinity cloudline T8 But was afraid it would be way overkill? I’d also like to mount the fans and scrubbing filters on the garage wall to save space inside the tents.
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

I don't get the lung room, typically in a tent setup that would be the same room the tents sit in.

Are you planning on putting an AC unit, dehumidifier and possibly CO2 in the lung room?

If you don't put the carbon filters in the tents and exhaust them with negative pressure sucking through the carbon filter then you should consider using the carbon filters as scrubbers and scrub the lung room but you will need a larger scrubbing setup, need to process the volume of the area at least once every 2 minutes.

The lung room is a living space and will be temp controlled around 70*. The tents (in the garage) will be drawing air in from the lung room and exiting outside through the garage in the summer and into the garage in the winter.

Maybe I could daisy chain both tents with an 8” fan while having a scrubber running in the 4x8?

So if your planning on extracting out of the garage then you need your filters in your tent.
How else would they clean the smell before air goes outside or remove the heat from the tents.

Unless ive misunderstood your plan, in which case please draw a more detailed diagram with fans, filters, ducts ect.
Plenty of room in 4x4 and 4x8 for filters and fans.

I need to hang 6 (240w) QB’s in the 4x8. I want to leave as much headspace as possible. I’m ok with putting the filter at the top of the tent if necessary, or I could have it sitting on the floor as a scrubber.

I’m trying to figure out what exactly I need to exhaust both tents. Do I need an intake fan as well? Should I swap sides with the 4x4 and 4x8 and chain them together and exhaust both tents together at the same time with just the T8?
