Explanation of Helios Light Controllers (electrical question)

I have access to one 240v plug-in wall outlet but want to run (2) 1000 watt setups off this one outlet. Will buying one of these Helios controllers such as #7 or #11 that support 240v plug ins regulate the power somehow? (simply buy a Helios7, plug into 240v wall outlet and then plug (2) 240v plug ins into the box and were all good??) Or do all Helios boxes have to be ran directly to an electrical box?

Don't know a whole lot about power and electrical problems but I like to do things safely and don't want to overload anything or problems with tripping breakers. Thanks in advance and happy growing

We need to be supplied with a few basic information first. What is the NEMA configuration of your 240 volts wall outlet? And are you planning on having both lights on the same timing schedule?
