external res dwc?????

just a quick question on a setup. If growing in a tent do most people keep the res inside the tent or outside??? obviously i would prefare to have it outside as then i have more room inside the tent but would you then get issues with temps or algae etc in the res as its at a different temp to the rest of the buckets inside the tent

I'd keep it outside, if its outside it will be easier to maintain the temp you want, if its inside then you're gonna have to cool it at some stage. Keep the lines and buckets lagged and light proofed and some kind of lid over the res and you shouldn't have probs with algae.
Nute temps and room temps should be different anyway, nutes around 68f and room around 80f

If it's a seperate res is this a RDWC we are talking about as thats what i assumed you mean if you are deciding wether to put the res outside the tent?
