Extraction fans with a carbon filter attached?

I have a small tent, about 16 cubic feet, has anyone tried one of these shower eXtraction fans with a carbon filter attached?

Those inline fans are way to small to pull the CFM needed through the filters. They're good for boosting intakes but that's about it. There's alot of good brands out there some are pricey others not so much. Stay away from plastic insides. Stick with reputable brands. Those blades spin at thousands of rpm and you can get some insane vibration and noise from cheap fans not to mention failure and god forbid fire.
You can run a fan dimmer control and use a 4" fan on a 4" filter. Then dial it down to what you need. What's your rooms dimensions?
