If you make an extract it will get you higher. Most likely the yield won't be great if it's shitty weed. There is a tutorial in my signature line on how I make QWISO, I'm a big fan.
where can i find the tutorial you said? i've seen some on youtube what's your opinion?

i was a huge fan of qwiso i mean huge! i used to make qwiso on a weekly basis but than my moms friend gave me some crappy bud it didnt really get you stoned but i had alot of it so i decided hey lets turn this into qwiso and when i took a dab i had the worst reaction i couldnt stop throwing up.

Billy totally correct, good material in gets good material out.
Which raises the question, is the flower you have actually gross and crappy? Like does it taste bad and look like shit? Or does it just not get you very high?
Even if you did an extraction and it did taste poorly when you smoked it you could still cook with it and be able to get high off the material.

i just use ethanol for my extracts. its something i can ingest at least. isopropyl has one of the worst smells.

Count me in the ethanol camp. 190 proof Everclear, works great, not poisonous.

Isopropyl is only poisonous if you drink it or consume LARGE amounts of it. Its used as a food safe solvent in lots commercial applications.
Isopropyl also should not get confused with denatured alcohol which has nasty other chemicals added so that people don't drink it.
ISO is a completely clean medical grade solvent that only has water in it. Once you evaporate the alcohol/water out, then all you are left with is pure cannabinoids.
That being said, Ethanol will do just as good of a job extracting. I have used it several times, its just WAAAY more expensive than the ISO, and harder to find some places. I can go get 90%+ ISO cheaply at any local store pretty much.

yeah where i live we never use iso as medical alcohol. only ethanol. i know you cant die from it in small amounts. and if anything you can die from too much ethanol because its drinkable
but all in all ethanol smells much better and i get cleaner extracts when i use ethanol, its only drawback is the price.
