Ez clone to Hydroton ?

Hello. I've purchased an EZclone and I am curious how one goes from the machine (bare roots) to Hydroton? Is it as simple as gently placing the clones with new roots in the pellets and making sure your flood cycle is high enough, or do I need to go from the cloner to rock wool before transitioning into the pellets?

If the latter, is there a way to easily go from bare roots into some type of rock wool medium that can then go into pellets? I can't see using small net pots as it seems like you couldn't untangle the roots. What else could I use?

i go straight from my ez cloner to the hyrdoton, no problems. the first run i did go from cloner to rockwool to hydroton. i prefer the rockwool cube for the support. let my clones hit about 6-7 inches tall, trim the bottoms up and bury in hydroton. either way no problems yet
