Only posting this in case there is anyone that is new to growing and is growing Sativa dominant strains.
Just learned the difference myself, between Sativa and Indica as far as grow conditions, nutrients, and flower time. These girls are moody, consistently stressed, and are gonna take 10-14 weeks to flower.
As far as nutrients go... limit the feedings. I think if you fed once a month that would be good to start. I was feeding every 4 watering and even that was to much. Nutrient burn is super easy and these plants are super tall... training with scrog is a must.
Granted these were bag seeds and I wasnt sure what type of plants they were... I have since learned. Im sure I will try growing a Sativa again when I get more experience but from now on Indica Dominant strains make the most sense for me.
Oh also one more thing.. This is just a peice of information I want to pass on for anyone that doesnt know. Your plants if Sativa will most likely be a bit more yellow green then Indica strains (which are much darker). I thought this was a deficiency when I first noticed the difference in color.
Below are some pics hopefully someone can learn from my mistakes. Cheers!
