Failed STS S1 experiment?

This is a clone of Leda Uno that I treated with STS at -5, day 1 & day+5 of flipping to 12/12:

It's been about a month of 12/12, but I'm not seeing much of a response to the treatment (unless a more-seasoned eye can tell me otherwise?).

The STS concentrate was made with the standard 1:4 of A:B & then diluted @ 1:5 for spraying. I'm guessing this was too dilute & a 1:3 dilution would've been a better course of action.

Questions:

1. Sit-tight & wait?
2. Put her outside as an assumed female in a bigger pot & just let nature take its course (I'm in Oz & we're just beyond Spring Equinox here right now). I'm sure there would be re-veg until after the Summer Solstice with the change in lighting schedule, but whatever.....?
3. Strap her to a stake, douse her with petrol & go all "Joan of Arc" on the project & start again (I have multiple clones about the same size & lots of others to play with, so not a great problem).

She's taking-up valuable tent-space right now on her own & I've got a few other "balls" in the air (pardon the obvious pun....) & could use that space for other things. I also have to consider my OD season stuff that I don't want pollinated inadvertently.

Risk/Reward.....

Thoughts?

I see pistils. If you treated the entire plant and it was successful you will not have pistils. After a month of 12/12 you should have clusters of balls forming.

I've always used this formula. It's a 1:5 ratio of silver nitrate to sodium thiosulfate which is then diluted with 9 parts water. You can reduce/increase the amount needed while keeping the ratio the same. I've yet to have it fail.

Good luck going forward.

0.5 grams Silver Nitrate + 500ml H2O
2.5 grams sodium thiosulfate (anhydrous) + 500 ml H2O
Mix those and then mix together to form solution
Then 1 part solution to 9 parts water.

Thanks.
My Thiosulphate is Pentahydrate, so I'll adjust the amounts accordingly & give it another go.

Looks like this test subject is going outside after all...& will become a reveg. experiment instead:)

I'm wondering what age are plant is before it reaches sexual maturity
I treated a reasonably large plant which is about 20 inches high and quite bushy with STS, and it reversed successfully and gave me quite a bit of pollen, I then tried with a lot smaller plant and it reversed and plenty of flowers but no pollen, am I correct in assuming age of the part has something to do with it ?
