Fan for micro grow

Do you think that this fna would be strong enough to create negative pressure with a diy mini carbon filter? (with carbon pellets). It's an old fan for a transformer, specifications are 12v 0,25 A, brushless.

I can't have a real inline fan because the noise will mess with me when I'm going to sleep, and the space isn't large enough for one.

Speaking of which, will be about 1,5x2x2, and I will be setting up a vertical net on one side of the cabinet, tying the plant to it, and using side lighting. Saw a guy pull alot from a space like that, with ease, the side lighting really makes it easy. The cabinet will be under my desk.

I honestly don't think they will do the job and overcome the resistance , however there is a very old thread on here if you can find it with many people building carbon filters from a pencil holder and pc fan.
I just don't know how effective they are.

I would go to the micro cab /stealth section, see what you can find out from those guys.

This is probably true, I've heard good things about using a mini blower or a cpu fan (=no smell for entire grow). Regardless of what people say I'm gonna have some perfume and smell candles around lol

One of those tiny squirrel cage style blowers would work way better at overcoming the static pressure loss.

I would math up the volume of your box in cubic feet (LxWxH) in inches and divide the inch figure by 1728 for cubic feet. Take that number and multiply it by 2.5 to get the recommended CFM for your box. Now you need to guess at how much CFM is going the way of static pressure loss. Maybe multiply the required CFM number by 2 in order to be safe?
