Fan guide help??

any one have a guide to set up a pc fan system? Looking for step by step as I’m a complete novice when it comes to electrics. I’ve seen some people use old phone plugs but what attachments do people connect to them etc.

I assume you already have a fan?

Just get a DC power supply that will put out the correct voltage for the fan and at least as much miliamps as the fan, red to positive and black to negative.

Scrounge up a computer power supply and you'll have lots of 12 and 5 volt leads and plenty of amperage for fans.

On the big motherboard plug find the green wire and jump it to any black wire. Then the PS can be switched on and off with the switch at the back of it.
