Fan leaves yellowing too early?

Hi folks, hope everyone's well.

My girls are just about a month into flowering and I've been having problems with yellowing fan leaves for a few weeks. It looks like a nitrogen deficiency. For the last two weeks I have added a small amount of Biobizz Fish Mix (2ml/1L), to the Biobizz Bloom (5ml/1L) that I've been giving the plants. During vegetative growth I was feeding with Fish Mix at a higher ratio (5ml/1L).

Should I continue to mix my fertilisers? Should I up the ratio of the Fish Mix for the next week or two and then no more N?
One of the strange things is that these are growing alongside some freebies who have received the same nutrients and they're not showing any signs of a N deficiency that the other girls have.

The BioBizz range is designed for 'Bloom' and 'Grow' both to be used throughout flowering. You're likely getting nitrogen deficiency as you're not giving them 'Grow'.

I'd not even heard of those until just now. I don't think I have them but I'll give a good look around. I've yet to see any type of flying bug in my room.

Props for the signature! I remember that thread!

Thanks for the tip on that, when I started 12/12 I pretty well cut off the nitrogen. Didn't realize that I was intended to continue with the Grow nutrients.

Added to reputation on accident because I couldn't find the "like" button.

I'm not gonna complain about the rep. ;-)

I didn't discover about 'Grow' being needed in flower for three grows. Always happy to share stuff, help others. :-)

Yellowing fan leaves in flowering is usually low N. They need a bit of nitrogen during flower, leaves will stay green and healthy.

At a month into flower, I'd be careful adding to much N as that can inhibit bud growth. Also, it could be a mag def. I noticed some of the strains I've grown need more mag in flowering. Causes some yellowing and can cause cal problems. Also make sure ph is good and that you aren't overwatering. Soggy soil can lock out nutes like N and cal/mag.

I fertilised yesterday with a mix of 5ml/1L Fish mix with 2ml/1L Bloom. I'm being pretty wary of feeding them too much N. I'll update as they hopefully, start to look a little more healthy.

Good advice.

BioBizz 'grow' is only 4.0 - 3.0 - 6.0

So the N content is not too high. They actually changed it to less when they changed the bottle. I guess to account for just what you said.

Edit - just checked and the fish mix has only slightly higher N content.

That sounds like a very sensible decision to me. That fish mix sounds interesting. I've always used 'Grow' instead.

What are your thoughts on it? How does it smell? ('Grow' smells like very mild marmite/bovril to me)

I've been pretty happy with the fish mix. It's really thick! The smell is terrible if you dare smell the concentrate. Yeah, really bad.
