How strong of a fan do I need for a space that is

1.5 feet wide 5.5 feet in length and 7 feet in height????

This is for 9 plants. Strictly for smell. I will be using it from vegging to fruiting.

do I keep it on 24/7? it will be going through a carbon filter.

That's only about 57cf--you won't need anything intense--sorry i can't be more specific--but use your cubic footage to determine fan size/strength. Good fans are sold by how much air they move per minute (cfm=cubic foot per minute). --if you don't have an intake fan, that should be fine bc your space is so small that any fan you put in for exhaust will suck air in (unless it is truly sealed airtight.) If you are adding a carbon filter for odor control---you'll want a fan that can exchange the air about every 3 min, and remember that the filter will slightly lessen cfm of the fan. good luck.

you could make a small carbon filter w fan for cheap--tons of detailed info on here on how to do it.
