Fans and other equiptment recommendations.

I am looking for a fan or fans to cool my 1000w HPS hood and phresh filter. I have been watching videos and played with a few at my local shop but am having a hard time deciding. I am looking for quiet and efficient but can get the job done. The sunleaves wind tunnels are what I had originally decided on, but I don't trust my own judgement sometimes and wanted to hear what everyone likes.

Remember: Im all about noise control. Thanks in advance

This is also going in a 5'x5' tent

Vortex has a 10 year warranty, that might not mean anything, but to me it means they believe in their equipment. Just a thought. I'm setting up a vortex/phresh filter for a 4x5.5 myself, good luck!

Vortex fans are loud as fuck. So are most centrifugal inlines. If you must run one, I'd suggest getting one bigger than you need and then slowing it down on a speed controller. Less RPMs = less noise.

If you got the cheddar for it, look into CanFan MaxFans. They are smaller than their centrigular counterparts, quieter, and more energy efficient. They move a bit less air than a centrifugal of the same size, but still generate the pressure to run through a filter.

Attach directly to the filter, it acts as a silencer. You can hear the hum when it runs, but I can't even hear when it turns on, no whoosh sound with a sun system 8" loud fan. With a fan designed to be quieter you should have 0 issue with sound.
