FastTech Hygrometer for inside curing jars

Hey friends,

I'm getting ready for harvesting and curing in a few weeks and decided to step up my game a bit. Wondering if anyone has ordered from fasttech. These little hygrometers are kinda cute and would fit in each jar so easily. For $2.54 each, it peaked my interest. Anyone have any experience with these?

I have ordered from Fasttech many times. Only LEDs and atomizers thus far.

You have to be patient with the delivery times but the parcels have always arrived. I have no experience with these digital hygrometers but I think that might be remedied shortly.

HA same with me just got a new kayfun tank. It does take forever (4 weeks once) with them, but the prices a damn good. Hope I'm not jinxing it, but I'm preparing for 16 oz 6 diff strains. I'm thinking about getting at least by one for each strain. $2.50 each for 6+

I rarely, if ever, see FastTech mentioned on RUI. I wonder if there's a reason?

Funny you should say that because I learned about them from the LED sub section. Growmau5, SupraSPL and others sung their praises for LED and accessories.
I just received a Zephyrus V2 tank in about 8 days from ordering. I am in the U.K. though I am not sure if that affects delivery times.

From one grower to another I hope your harvest exceeds your expectations. (:

Haven't hung out with the LED gang for a while - after a very weak solo grow cup failure.

Damnit, I went and looked at the scales section!!!!!! My pocket scale just broke. IF I order one now, it actually may make get here by harvest time!!! Someday I want a really old anitque scale with the case of little weights that you put on one side. Blathering on, stoned after working all night.

I bought 3 of those and really have no complaints, I drilled holes in the jar lids and glued them in.
Problem is, they are only accurate to +-5% and we are trying to maintain 60% - 65% inside jars... see the problem?

I too decided to step up the game a bit and get more accurate ones (+-1%).
these are 4 times more accurate but cost around five times as much but do come with batteries:
they also have min/max memory.

I considered buying some of those but simply couldn't bring myself to trust them, so I bought a Caliber IV and 4R instead ($25 a piece). I've super-glued the 4R to the lid of a 1 gallon cracker jar from Walmart. Using Boveda 59% humidity packs, I'm testing for accuracy and so far they seem pinpoint accurate:

I just measured and it's at or very close to 2" When I made mine, I just sorta winged it with the sheet metal scissors and dremel. It worked out though.

Just be sure to seat your 4R in the hole before you super-glue and measure humidity stability with boveda (or something similar). You don't want to discover a breach after you've already super-glued and thereby waste $25. This way, at worst, all you lose a jar lid.

thanx bro, while i have not tried to cut any out, i did use silicone vs. super-glue in case i needed to try. this was done with the cheap-o's, still waiting on the others. I used a 1.5" hole saw on those and it was just a tad too small & had to file 'em out a little.
