Fattening buds

I read that strong wind during the fattening phase of flowering makes buds bigger because the plants are trying to get pollinated anyone tried increasing fan speeds towards the middle to end of flowering

In studies of other crops, increased wind speeds causes a reduction in yields And total dry weight. The connection between, strong wind, and buds getting bigger because they want to get pollinated, escapes me.

Wind will help with overall plant strength, could possibly help in the right amount at the right time when a plant is anticipating polinization? Spelling...thus to increase surface area to receive said pollen. Research i have yet to hear of but that doesn't make it wrong. Interesting theory!

100 percent agree on that. Sometimes the right amount of stress in the right way can have positive effects, at least in other crops. My guess would be possibly shorter internodal growth, however nutes would go to stalk strength rather than flower production
