Have you thought about adding a RIU shopping list in addition to having coupons?
Something simple like setting up a Paypal for RIU. Members can use that map to order supplies through us for a slightly discounted rate.
For the shops that are willing to give you discounts for coupons we could also use the discounts from the store for this.
Example
If a store is willing to give you a 5% discount on a product, advertise it here for a discount of 2.5% and pocket the other 2.5%. call it a finders fee.
So here is a rough breakdown
1) open a secure paypal for RIU
2) obtain discounts from stores because we are providing "advertisement"
3) Create shopping area with price lists that only apply half of the discount you can receive."finders fee"
4) Members/anyone orders from you money=> money in the Paypal " maybe add member insensitive they could get full discount" grow your site
3) you forward the order to the hydro shop
5) hydro shop sells/ships order for the full discount and you retain half of the savings.
Of course there may be some legal things you will have to look into to ensure the safety RIU as a entity.
But just a brainstorm
