Hello guys
My girls about to be two weeks into 12/12 last watering was plain water I’m not sure what to feed them do I give them veg food to support the stretch or I start giving flower food ? Or wait till 3rd week to dry out then give them flower food so they can suck it all up ? What you guys think ?

What kind of nutes are you giving them? I start giving bloom as soon as I switch, but I'm doing organic using Earth Juice mainly, and I'm a nube.

Most flowering nutes have small amounts of nitrogen so would go straight into flower nutes I wouldn’t wait but I would use slightly less than suggested and slowly build up to required amounts.

I totally agree swazifarmer. But my Earth Juice Bloom has no N so I still use some of the Earth Juice Grow with it the first few weeks. I think the Bloom formulas with more phosphorous encourage the plant to get into flower mode faster, but again I'm still a nube.

No, the nutrients won’t encourage the plant to go into flowering. Most nutrients (veg and flowering) have NPK and all nutrients are important in both stages it’s just the ratio changes for each stage.

As for no N in your Earth Juice grow....it’s a good thing you really want no to very low levels for flowering regardless of the stretch you medium should hold enough N at this point.

Ive been using the green house powder feeding aswell, but I did bought the vegetative one (grow) but in less quantity than the short flowering. i calculated that my plants were going to vegetate for less time than ill put them in flowering, so got 3 little sachets of the grow one.
I'll share some pics later.

Usually you still give veg food plus you start to add bloom nutrients in gradually over time going to full strength bloom and pulling back on the veg food. No need for excess nitrogen once blooming starts and stretching has slowed or stopped. PS still a newbie so look at what others have to say on the subject as well. PS. Bone meal is your friend during bloom! Good luck!
