feeding/watering

Hi all, I would like to know what you guys do to feed your plants when grown in soil. I never really know how I should do this... I have floranova and flora for flowering,.. now I stoped using floranova, I have been in flowering for almost 20days (very few pistil so far...I can barely tell it is a female... is it normal?). So my question is, when I have my 1 gallon mix of water and flora, how much of that I should give the plant in a 3 gallons bucket.? I usually give about 1liter of the mixture, and wait for a couple days, then I put about 1.5liter of water in the soil, and I wait until it's kindof dry(3-4 days is that too much?) and I repeat the cycle with the food... thank you for your help

You should be giving it enough water so that you see it coming out of the bottom of the pot. You will notice the pot will be significantly heavier than before. Wait until the pot gets significantly lighter and then water again, so long as the top of the soil has dried out to an inch down.

I give my girls (also in 3gal pots) about a half a gallon per feeding.
