FeelRealGood's first grow (DWC)

Alright guys and gals, I just finished my grow box with the help of my engineering buddy. Nothing growing as of yet, I'm waiting to get ahold of some seeds. Likely going to go with anything my dealer can give me as a test run and see how well it goes. If I manage to turn out some nice plants I'll buy some supa strains

Here is the box.
Measures 4' tall x 2' wide x 2'8" deep. As of now I have two intake fans on the right and another fan blowing air out the top. We are using an old PSU that we jumped by crossing the wires to power the fans. In the next few days I'll make a cover for the intakes to keep light from escaping and eventually make a carbon filter to go at the top. I put a lock on the box to keep bigger pests from getting in.

On the inside the walls are completely lined with mylar. I have three 27 watt bulbs (2 per plant) rated at 5500k. An 18 gallon tote with holes cut for three 3" net pots. At the top there is an air pump w/ dual outlets rated for 20 gallons. A second, older air pump rated at 15 gallons pushing a smaller stone.

I'm new to this entire thing so I'm going to open this journal up right away. So give me some tips on the box that are hopefully not to expensive, as I am running low on cashhhh...

A few concerns:
1) My main concern is if I have enough lights for my 3 plants. If my math is correct (and it rarely is) I'm only pushing about 2500-2700 lumens per square foot. Not exactly ideal from what I have read...

2) I've run the box for about 4-5 hours today and the temp usually stays right at 83. I've read 85 is maximum for plants, but if I try and put some covers on my fans that will prob bring up the temp a few degrees, putting me on the border.

3) Lastly, should I replace one of these air pumps for something larger? I thought about just gluing two of the pumps on the side of the tank.

Thats all for now. I'll post more pics soon. I'm trying to steal some bandwidth but people are catching on to locking their routers now adays...greedy bastards.

Happy toking!
