fem seeds?

That's one way. But you will most likley breed the hermie trate also. That's why I hate fem seeds, they tend to herm out easy. Your better off starting regular ones, breeding them for more stock and keep cuttings of the females.
 
I guess I differ. Good fem seeds from stable strains don't go hermie often. The seeds you are creating the way you describe will be regular seeds not fem.

I have never had a problem with fem seeds. They are awsome and I would never dream of planting regular seeds and waiting for them to sex,but then again money is no object to me. If you are on a budget I guess you got to go with what you can afford.
 
fem'd seeds used to be made by pollinating a female with a hermie... well that was the "snookie and ray ray's" way to make cheap fem'd seeds.. they often caused hermies.. but at least the male trait was gone...

now and days they use colloidal silver spray to cause true females (these are females that regardless of the stress done to them they WILL NOT hermie) to create pollen sacks...

stressing a plant to hermie and using chemicals to cause it result in very different pollen sacs forming.. at least genetically different..

a true female that has been sprayed with a chemical to force hermie will ONLY have female pollen... there will be no sign of hermie or male... when you take this pollen and pollinate another true female you get truely fem'd seeds...

NOW... occasionally you may get a hermie.. this is because it is possible for recessive traits to hide for a long time before coming out in the grow.. if this happens then you know one of the two female parents had a HINT of hermie somewhere lost in the genetics... but that is nothing to worry about.... its very uncommon and unlikely anymore.. as long as you get your seeds from reputable breeders..

If you are wanting to breed femanised seeds then you will need a hermi plant that has been brought into this world from seed a hermi.A femanised seed that has turned hermi is not the same thing this will carry more male traits then female.In my opinion you are far better with a regular seed then a femanised one because the female from a regular seed will be 100% female and have no male traits at all.There is alot to be gained from breeding two of your favourite strains and comeing up with a plant that you have made.I did a big bang and a.m.s strain last year and she was a lovely smoke realy heavey head buzz though took the longest smoker of there feet.This years project is gonna be kushberry and jackherer so i will post any pictures all been well.But don't think that all strains cross well they do but some produce far better than others.....................tyke..............................................................................
