Female/male confusion.

I have a monster bushy 4 ft bagseed plant outdoors and it has little clusters of these little pear shaped growths on the top and branches of the plant. The problem is that look like male sacs but they are in the female configuration and the top of the plant has what looks like super thin leaves comming out around the growths and they look purplish. I'm so confused. Some help will be greatly appreciated.

Male, if it looks like bollocks it probably is. If it is hairs it a bitch.
