Female preflowers ??? *pics

Okay, this question goes out to the real pothead pros.

I'm not sure if these arrow head like objects coming from the stems are preflowers. These pics are garbage, but the best reference would be right in the center of both pictures.

BTW, I'm still in veg. Is it even possible to show sex before flowering?

Im not seeing anything in the pics, but my plants have shown sex before I put them into flowering. So def not unheard of

Basically I see lil spikes they almost look like thorns, right where the stems split into branches

Yea mine did that about 6 weeks in. You should see some little hairs start to pop out any day.
