Female turning male? Hermie? Or sinsemilla?

Hey, so these things started popping up in my stigmas . They also have stigmas growing out of them. Just curious as to what they are and what they do.

Those are swollen calyx's or bracts.........female stuff.

Usually they are small till later in flower (my experience).

thanks the internet literally shows nothing but basic male/female traits when you look up anything related to growing weed lmao

Looks like your girl got pollinated. Check for nanners or erupted balls.

No nanner I think but it’s still early, there’s literally only one or 2 on like every other node.

I was going to say what Padawan Warrior said. When I see swollen calyx's like that when the rest of the pistils are still white I expect there to be a seed in it.

I busted one open and there wasn’t a seed, they’re still pretty new so I’m not gonna rule out the possibility of Some seeds forming. But idk how that works wouldn’t they be pollen sacs, then pollinate itself then produce seeds? Or are y’all thinkin it’s already pollinated ? I have a male in the closet just spewing out pollen, so it’s definitely possible.(I have to keep it, I get the risk) I have no problem with a couple seeds on some nodes if that’s the case. I’m just wondering if there’s anything I can do to keep the plant from focusing on seeds and focus more on the thc.

It's pollinated. Why do you have a male spewing pollen in there?

I'm far from an expert on this particular area. But my non expert understanding is that pollination doesn't lower thc content, it simply lowers the amount of usable herb you will have because the calyxs are filled with seed and not trichome covered herb.

I've now read the other posts, and I'm also somewhat confused as to your reasoning behind having a male in there. The only role of a male is pollination (to impregnate the female in effect) to make seeds - you don't need males to make females stronger (subconscious feminism ). All you're guaranteeing having males in the tent is that you won't end up with sensi!

Those look like pollinated calyxes. The reason theres no seed in it when u pulled it apart is because the seed hasnt formed yet. Ur gonna end up with lots of seeds w a male around. If you really wanna go w the bro science w the male around and the fems sensing it you can cut that male way back. Trim it down to a couple small branches. It will be much easier to control the pollen outcome just keep picking off the sacks. If the bro science stands tru the females will sense the male hormones from his energy. You dont need pollen floating around in the air.
