Again pic 1 female - Pistillate preflowers are located at the node between the stipule and emerging branch.
Pic 2 male - Staminate flowers are located at the node between the stipule and emerging branch. Note the clusters of flowers.

I asked if there were pre flowers on the plants. I explained that they are said to show in 6-8 weeks, not that I knew whether or not they were pre flowers.

Don't branches develop at beginning of growth? And in the picture, the top circles, you see the little pistol like looking things there? those aren't pistols? looks like 2 little hairs.

Ive heard those thingys appear on both male/female, i think you should wait a week or two in order to spot preflowers, have you turned to 12/12 yet>?

I dont entirely agree with Air. There is still a possibility that it is female. Thats my opinion anyway, you wont know for sure until you start the 12/12 cycle.

sorry cant see any pre flowers on there ,just new growth .you will know for sure soon enough theres no mistaking fully developed male or female flowers .

Ya there is a possibility it is a female, I never said there wasnt I did say those arnt preflowers though as he thinks and was asking if they were. When you see preflowers they will be behind those green spikes and will with be a stout with a egg shaped ball on the end or a pistil with 2 white hairs coming out of it.

yeah i switched to 18/6 few days ago...i read in cervantes horticulture bible that there is no diminishing return with 24/0 and just increases vegetation, also read a length description about it in high times. Anyways, I think 18/6 is healthier.

Those "thingies" do show up on both male and female the preflowers will develop right next to it Pliskin was right they do apear right in those circles

Hey Wlliejack I run a 24 hour photoperiod all the time with things getting bigger everytime and more lights and overall wattage comming into the picture my energy usage is a growing concern if i dropped back to a 18/6 photoperiod do I have to make sure they arnt getting light from another light source during the 6 hours off or can I move them in front of a window to mabbey get some light
