Feminized seeds 100%?

Are femanised seeds a 100% chance of only female plants or is there a slight possibility that some can turn out to be male?

biggest risk with them are hermis. If you took seeds from a hermi (feminized seeds are produced this way) and planted you'll have an even bigger risk of hermis; so on and so forth. You can get males as well. If you have a proper setup you'll love fem seeds.

I have used attitudes and have had 100 percent sucess. Got two going now that are kicking ass. I am not a breeder and I would not use anything but fems.

Getting a male out of fem seeds is possible. I got this with 2 different breeders dr.greenthumb and ograskal.

Growing FEMs most plants will be female and a few can hermie but a very slight chance of a male popping up

I think fem seeds get an undeserved bad rep. You gotta choose good genetics but it saves time and work and in my small room it is the way to go

A true feminized seed can not become a male, because it has two X chromosomes. Usually you take a female, spray colloidal silver on the plant during early to mid flowering, wait for it to go hermi, take the pollen, destroy the plant that was sprayed, and apply the pollen to another female plant. Since each female only carries an X chromosome. the resulting seed is XX which is a guaranteed female.

There is another way to create a feminized seed and that is to allow the plant to stay in flower a few weeks longer then usually. This can force a female plant to hermi naturally, instead of you having to spray your plants. Once hermied, the process is the same as above.

Having said all this, your still dealing with humans and it's always possible that mistakes happen during a grow. A rouge male plant might not be found and culled in time or seeds might get mixed up during packing. That's always possible.

Good to hear cause I ordered fem seeds from attitude. .currntly growing from fems Cheese( got it free) Blue Cheese Sour diesel master kush great white shark x mazer ( got it free) skunk #1 red dragon Hawaii maui waui og Kush ( got it free) there all still in veg so I hope there females.

There is always a very small chance of a male or a hermi.like 0.5% .Reputable breeders fem'd seeds should be completely fine.Basicly the way they do it i think is they take a batch of plants and stress the fuck out of them in every way possible ,then they select the plants that takes the most abuse without hermying and make the seeds from them ,so the seeds created are very unlikely to hermie

Most hermi attributes in a fem seed come from the original strain, and how likely it was to hermi as a normal seed. And like mentioned above it is impossible to get a male from a fem seed.

i had a white widow freebie turn male half way thur flowering. one day pretty buds the next it was hanging balls, slipped right by me. also light leskd can make one herrmie so watch for that

besides GHS ive never had a male or a herm using fems
