Ok, I never really fully understood the pH system. I know how nutrients run differently on the pH scale from all base to all acid or neutral, which is great for pot in soil (6.5-7.0).
Anyway, HERE'S MY PROBLEM...
If I use MORE THAN 1 nutrient that is neutral or at least close to neutral on the pH scale does it increase or decrease the pH.
Let me rephrase... Lets just say I have Nutrients A, B, and C. A has a pH of 7.0, B has a pH of 6.8 and c has a pH of 6.5. If I put them all together in the soil which already has its own pH of 7.0. Do these nutrients combined dramatically increase pH or no because they're so close on the pH scale?
I'm just very confused. Some one give me a good education on this pH stuff please. MUCH APPRECIATED. Thank you!
