ok sounds like you have a good start id change a few things first , whats with this 7x5x8 grow plan??with 2 1000w's you should use a 4x8 floor plan thats 4x4 per 1000w light...... and yes 1000w's are the shit dont let anyone talk you out of it.. unless you have an amp or heat problem for with the 1000w......

yeah changing it up had that floor plan just so i would have 2 feet of space all around the grow but yeah been thinkin 4x8 is way better...i know im gonna have a amp problem 18amps in just the lights and standard room is 20amps wat would u suggest?....

well you can use multipul breakers EX: in my apartment i use the breaker in the room the grow is in and i use a heavy extension card to run to another outlet thats on a seperate breaker in a different room.....If you are in a house i would strongly suggest putting in a 240v breaker that way you can run everything on half the amps... so a 1000w 9amp ballast will now run at 4.5amps on a 240v breaker instead of 9amps on a 120v.... Its the same kinda outlet your Dryer runs off of.....Now your amps are cut in the half but you are still using the same amount of Watts so your PG&E is still the same..... Make sense?/ those two are pretty much

perfect yeah i was think about the 240v but wasnt sure if that would work since all the plugs are 120v...also are those fans enough with the 10000 but a/c unit? window mounted and sealed

Your ballast has to be compatible with 240v outlet.... I only buy ballasts that run 120/240v so some only run 120v some only run 240v and some do BOTH......So you need to look on your ballast and see if it will even run 240v....

As for your second question i dont understand what your asking?? "fans enough witt 1000 but ac unit?"

If your running an "open" loop room then having an AC unit dosent work very well because you are constintly exhausting out your cool Air conditioned air out of your room.....And if you shut the exhaust fan off to allow your AC to cool the room then you are not allowing any new Co2(air) to enter your room.. and your also not allowing the humid air to leave......So then you stuck running your AC all the time because the AC is constatly trying to cool the air as you exhaust it out and bring in new HOT air.....make sense??

So now your left with trying to juggle your exhaust fans with your AC using timers or a control panel...Its becomes a head ace.....For this reason i DO NOT grow in an "open" loop system in the summer time because its too hard to cool my room..........

I do however run my "closed" loop system in the summer because there is NO inlet and NO outlet so my AC unit is not over worked it comes on for a short time cools my room then shuts off tell the therm. tells it to come back on........ This is one advantage to a sealed room among many others........

asking if the 400cfm 6"ex/car and intake 6"285 cfm be enough for the 2 1000w with the a/c unit coming on once an hr for 15min...intake pulling fresh air from outside

I haven't had a problem with AC running with an open exhaust set up. It depends on how you plan and construct the air flow thru your grow room or closet. My 5000 BTU window unit is in an adjacent room and so the cool air is always being pulled in the large grow closet from the 1" space between the base of the closet door and the floor. Then circulates around the hydro reservoirs and up from below the elevated root tubs thru vent holes flowing around under the wall-to-wall canopy of fan leaves. Then up and out of the custom made hood at the 1000 watt HPS bulb, and directly exhausted to a roof vent via a 180 cfm Activeair squirrel cage blower along with two Air-Ball ozone generators to keep any odors in check. Heat never has a chance to build up in the closet in the first place, with a complete air exchange every two to three minutes.

regardless of wether or not you think you have a problem you are still working against yourselft..... Anytime you have an exchange of air you are making your AC unit work harder and less efficent.... If you have a closed loop your not exchanging air and then changing it to suit your grow.... So i beleive that your grow works fine for you but dont think its as efficent as an AC in a closed loop system...... If people understand WHY there doing somthing then it makes everything else make more sense.....
