ffof can seedlings handle this soil?

I baught a bag of ffof and a bag of perlite what ratio shud I use? And can seedlings handle ffof? My seedling is about 2in tall the leaves are still really small. Its about a week old. And I germd in paper towels then moved it to a peat starter thing. I want to repot to my ffof mix up to the the leavs cause it streatched a little. I moved my light down about 4 inches above leaves. I'm in a cupbord with a 15W cfl. I'm sure I need more light, but that's what I got for the seedlings for now. Shud I put the peat starter in a cup then fill in with ffof mix so it can get used to it? Any advise is great

You can use straight ffof. I did. It works fine. I wouldn't add more than 50% perlite.

i would also move the light closer (about 2 inches from leaves) and replace with a 23 watt as soon as you can, and maybe add a second light.

I've got the light on 24/7 cause my light has a switch and won't let my timer work. Goin to home depot to get 2 23W cfls. I repotted into a mix of 75-80% ffof, and 20-25% perlite. I can't figure how to post pictures, cuz I'm on my blackberry, and they suck. but soo far its looking good!
