Fighting pythium

Hi guys,

I wanted to ask you, what would you recommend on using to fight pythium (besides keeping everything top-notch clean) when the plants are very young (1-2-3 weeks old)? I've read that hydrogen peroxide isn't an option for seedlings because it can damage their young and fragile roots.

I've also read of people using garlic, cinnamon or chamomile tea.

If you want to run beneficial, make "the tea". Sterile, I run chlorine (hypochlorous acid) at 2ppm in my cloners from the day I put cuts in and they roots are always fine so I'm sure you can use it for seedlings.

Yeah I use pythoff can purchase on eBay it's basically clhorine but 1 thing I can say is I've used every means necessary to fight pythium it sucks a have 30lpm of air in one 5 gal bucket and still had pythium all due to temps, using the ice water bottles and insulating the bucket with cheap foil coated bubblewrap I can get temps to only rise 3 degrees every 12 hours so I add 2 a day and all is fine new roots bursting through with no pythoff added

How do you measure 2ppm? I've seen this recommendation but have no idea how to achieve it.. I don't think my ppm meter graduates down that low.
