Fimming

A little lower looks like u missed it
This was done 2 days ago. Should I go lower or just top it? I wonder if I fucked up. Because I topped 2 branches. Then tried to fim this one when I learned it would grow 2 extra this way. Is it ok to do both?

That looks about right.

From what I saw trying fimming it mostly just stunts the top for a day or two so the nodes right below it catch up. I was expecting actual new mains lol.

Fucked up, that's what fim is lol, it's your experiment mate you can do what you want.
I'm trying to figure out what's more effective for yeild, And this is an experiment being my first grow. I started with 4, one was a male so down to 3. So I was trying get a little more yeild.

I find that topping once, regular style topping, not FIM, gives enough time for the lower branches to almost catch up to the top branches and a little simple LST can create beautiful plants with a massive amount of tops, over 50 in some cases. FIM is unpredictable and definitely not the easiest way to get multiple tops.

This plant for example was topped once and a little LST used. Tops everywhere. 20200309_200337.jpg

Nice. Yeah, 1st time grower. Should have stuck to simpler things. This attempt was a FFIM, Fuck, Fuck I missed, LOL

What's the purpose of this? Or trying this?
Topping and fimming are pruning methods that force the plant to produce additional main colas, and becomes bushier. More colas, higher yield.
