Finally Finished Stealth Cabinet W/ Carbon Filter

So I have been working on this on and off for a couple weeks and finally finished the other day. This is my first build and I am happy with how it turned out. Unfortunately I will not be using it! I am moving in a few weeks into a house with 5 other people and the risk of another person finding out does not seem worth it...even though I have a large walk-in closet it seems risky. However, it was a lot of fun to build and the learning experience was well worth the time and money invested. Comment and let me know how you think it would have turned out...I am pretty bummed that I will not be using it.
The carbon filter you see is made out of a coffee filter and the lid to a spray paint can, attached to a 4" inline duct fan, I know many are skeptical about these fans but it seems to be blowing quite a bit of air out even with the filter on.
(Also another concern was the electrical, mainly my 3 pc fans are wired to a charger that sys 100-240V input, but it is still a 12v dc charger..was not sure the safety of this)004.jpg

Interesting design with lots of room for improvement. Some way of moving the light up and down or you'll have to move the plants up and down which isn't so bad either but with CFL's you want them as close as possible. Risks and benifits definetily need to be weighed :) I think building and designing cabinets and hydrosystems is like 1/4 of the fun I'm always offering people I know if they want help or want me to build them a cabinet.

Not to mention you learn alot more than buying some prefab system you'll end up upgrading and fixing on anyways. Let them learn from thier own mistakes and make your own!

Thank you for the comments. I thought about putting the lights on chains or some kind of track but decided for my first time I would keep it simple...I was going to just put books or something under the pots to raise them to the lights.
