I started off with a Ipower 1k dig, and the rf was through the roof, and got the cable company knocking. So i have not been able to use my shit in like 6 months, so i been growing with cfl's trying to get a decent amount of vegging plants before I got a magnetic ballast to use the big light on to flower, cause flowing with cfl's is pretty damn gay. Anyways, the mag is on its way, at least if that thing takes a crap i could take it someplace to get it fixed, unlike the effing digital one. Wish someone told me dig systems cause issues with rf, and cant be fixed when broken... Would have saved me a lot of time. So I'm figuring 3 months till bud time, light at the end of the tunnel is soooo nice. :leaf:

I read a lot about this subject although I have zero issues with interference from an Apollo and a Thunder ballast. Here is an article about taming the RF written by an amateur radio operator. Something to think about is, are there any houses within a few miles with Ham radio antenna's?? I am a Ham and I don't like it when I can't hear anything due to RF interference. And yes, I will go looking for the source and it is really easy to find within a few minutes using a two-way radio.

If you read that, you will see that Lumatek and MicroMole also has RF issues. You can make chokes to help but you cannot stop it completely.
And just for the record... I would never make someone stop what they are doing but will help to fix the problem since we both have our hobbies!
