Does anyone know if the One or Two finger method is accurate for probing your soil medium for Moisture? i thought i read somthing saying that disturbing the top off your soil medium where the plant is could affect your plant in some ways? And does this method just work in general? I would like to hear any input on the subject?

No it doesn't hurt em, don't stick you finger in next to the stalk (duh) but near the edge of the pot. You can also tell by weight of pot if dry or still has moisture..
