I've been growing for about fifteen years, and grown roughly two dozen strains. I've read plenty of hype about super fast finishing strains, uzbek hp mostly, but I've never believed it. Now I have a mystery plant on my hands, started from bag seed, vegged about 3 weeks. I flipped the lights on January 1, and my other girls (had two grows with that mom, also from random bag seed) are right where I'd expect them to be, but the new one looks dead-on ready to chop except it looks like the yield would be shit with pretty small cola tops.
Please tell me what you think, let me know if you've seen other plants do this. I'm half expecting that if I give her another five days she'll have a growth spurt and finish out right before eight weeks? I'm flummoxed.
Pics are all of the lady in question, save for the last one, which is what she looks like compared to the three from the other mom. The orangey pic is the best shot I could get off the tallest, ripest cola.

Edit: just realized you can't really see in the photos how many orange hairs there are. I did my best to capture the cloudiness of the trichomes, but that didn't come through well either. No amber, but I usually harvest before I see amber anyway.
