Finished in 36 Days? Is this possible? Crazy ish with Pic included!

Hey there.

I been growing for over 7 years now and recently have grown out a new clone of Dairy Queen that a buddy gave me. Its on day 36 of flowering and already pistils are almost 80% receded and trichromes are approximately 75% cloudy. Yield itself is rather low, but the smell and density of the bud that is there looks badass.

I use full House and Garden soil lineup and fed it with a full dose of Bud-Blood from AN 2 days before I gave it 24 hours of darkness before switching to 12/12. I actually started counting days at 4 days after the 12/12 switch. Even so, that would put flowering time at day 40.

I'm kind of at a loss so please check out the pic and let me know what you think. I'm almost temped to give it a few days of pure water and cut it down.

i have a buddy who has been growing for 30+ years and had some plants finish in 38 days, pineapple something or the other. it's possible. i have a couple strains that i swear are done at 45 days.

I have a cross of Northern Lights x Top 44. Never heard of Top 44 but from a few sources, its named that because its done around 44 days. I guess it is/was a Nirvana strain. Your a man of knowledge, know anything?

I grew a random cross (Blue City Diesel x Unknown) about a year ago and it finished in 44 days.

I love amber trichs....so i usually cut 5-7 days after it looks ready in my eyes

I remember top 44 from the late 90's. I can recll seeing it at Marc Emery seeds. Not sure wh othe breeder was though.

Ive only seen top 44 done by Nirvana seeds im sure there are others.

i have never grown the strain but its possible in about 7 days you will see a growth spurt then a couple weeks to ripen and you have 8 weeks. it does look tastey so i hope it fattens up more for you.

damn thats quick bud. I got some original grimms bro cindy 99 that finishes in 45 days (5% amber, the way I like it) but yeah I bet you'll get a new crop of white hairs and then another growth spurt. Nice looking plants regardless, gj!

Thanks everyone for the quick replies. I decided to trim a branch yesterday and test it out. Its drying as I type. I'm going to let the 2 Dairy Queens go to this Saturday. That would mark day 50 for them. Under the microscope I actually see a few ambers. Only like 1% but by this Saturday should be around 5-10%.

I just took mine to day 64 and started taking her down! This is the taller of the two phenos that I am growing out. The other one finished a few weeks ago. The calyx' on this one really swelled up for me. The other not so much.

Ive neverheard of anything done before 7 weeks.

I put a plant in dark for a couple days, then vegged it for a couple days then flowered it. It budded like that, the cola tops are already like solid bud but the lowers are still white heairs forming like normal.
