Ok so this is the first plant I’ve ever tried to grow… I’ve taken leafs off twice now to expose lower branches to more light and both times she bounced back amazingly, seems better and much bushier..

so anyway, I didn’t top this plant “early” myself but it seems to have done so Herself at about 3 weeks of growing. (Topped 4 days but only the 2 main top branches ) So it seems. She started growing in a “Y”.. so anyways, what should I do with all these branches ?? I planned on throwing a screen over her and stretching her branches all throughout the net screen.. so here’s my real question.. should I top each and every one of those new branches? If so, how many nodes shall each branch have before topping ?? I did top her 4 days ago but only the 2 main top branches that were on top of the “Y” shape

Be cautious how much and often you top. I’ve had issues where I topped too much and only grew popcorn buds everywhere. I stick with 3-5 weeks old I top the main cola. Wait 3-4 weeks and top the 2 off the “Y” you just created. Wait another 3-4 weeks and then you can top the 4 you created from the original first topping. If that makes sense. This is where I stop as I have had no issues with this strategy. I’m sure you could be a bit more aggressive with topping it depending on strain and growth, but I haven’t really needed more than 3-6 toppings over 2 months or so. I usually pick a lot of the overlapping fan leaves off while in the middle of these waiting times to allow light to get to the little branches that are starting due to the topping! Be careful how many fan leaves you pick off in the waiting period also as you don’t want to shock your plant. When in doubt, don’t touch the girls. You will notice when she’s back healthy and booming again for your next fan leave/topping job! Hope this helps! (I’m not a master btw, just do a a lot of research in my free time) :)
