First Autoflower Grow

I am currently germinating a Dinafem Critical + Auto in the cup of water method. About 15 hours in...I've noticed the seed has gotten slightly darker, and by the photo, has small bubbles around it. How long do autos take to germ? Not super experienced with germination, so I don't know what to look for, as far as bad signs. Anyone germed a Critical before? What method is best for auto flowers? I know everyone has their own way, but just drop your knowledge and advice my way. Big love!

I just pop them 1/4" deep straight into soil and water them in a little. You can also put your starter cup of soil on a heat mat. The warmth aids germination.

It's cracked open, waiting for the taproot to come out a little bit more then putting it in a jiffy pellet.

Everybody has their " own " way to germ : when i do autos i do this .......

I soak in de-chlorinated water for 24 hours -
Hydrated seeds will " sink " to bottom



After 24 hours -
1. Plant directly into soil / container
Or
2. Place between PLAIN paper towels ( dampened ) - cover and place cool dark
place. Root will show in a day or so.


I use styrofoam plates ( keeps moisture in ) compared to paper plates that may absorb moisture and dry out to quickly.




After i plant - i add a cover to make a humidity dome.



Or place seed in a rockwool cube or peat plug



Its not hard .....
