First Closet Grow, using coco, tips and advice much needed

Hello fellow farmers,

I'm beginning my first grow in a few days now, yesterday i purchased most of the necessary items i got myself; a bag of canna coco pro, canna a+b, cannazym, canna rhizotonic, ph and ec meter, dual spec 300 watt cfl, ph up and down, mylar reflective sheets, two 15liter pots and 2 small pots. I'm yet to buy canna pk 13/14 and also calmag.

I have a closet which is 75cm wide, 45cm deep and 150cm tall, I'm going to be grow two autos in this small space. Obviously I've done a bit of research online but still have a few things I want to "hash" out before starting and I hope you can be of help.

1) I'm yet to find consistent information regarding the amount of nutes needed for this grow, I have checked out the canna grow guide, but it seems to me that these numbers are much higher than those used by many farmers, for example it tells me in the first week to use 19 ml of both a+b and 40ml of rhizotonic per 10L, are these figures accurate? If so does this mean that for my first water I am to dialute said amount of nutes into my first water?

2) How much to water? I plan to hand water my plants, however I am unsure of how often and how much I am to feed the plants. As mentioned in 1) i have a few issues with knowing the amount of nutes to use and when, so if someone could provide a rough guide for the amount of canna nutes needed in a coco grow it would be great :). Also i have heard alot about the "run-off" after water and speak of percentages, what does this mean? and would i need to use this practice, I have two run off trays for the plants but am still unsure as to their full purpose.

3) I plan to germinate my plants in small pots first, using coco, and then transferring to the 15L pots, is this a wise move? Once again I've seen conflicting information on the subject, many who say that they germinate their plants in the larger pots and others that transfer from a small to large. As a beginner what would you recommend for me?

4) I have yet to purchase Calmag, am i going to need this straight away?

I have many other questions and would love to start a dialogue with some of you guys and gals :), thanks in advance for your wise words.

Peace !

i grew a couple of autos b4.
started them in party cup and a 3 gallon. if you transplant carefully the plant will move along just fine. if you start them in those 3g containers you have make sure not to water too heavily as that will cause damping off and stunt growth. just water the center with a couple of cups of h20 then water when needed. better for the plant to wilt from thirst than from overwatering.
make sure to use calmag, coco is a hog use about 4-5 ml per gallon of water, and invest in a good fan

oh and the plants should not need anything as far as nutes the first couple of weeks, do make sure to use cal mag wih every watering though. you can use cal mag and water on seedlings with no ill effects and should be enough till like the second week

Hey mate, cheers for the response

So would you say then for the first 2 weeks from planting I am to only use calmag in my water? No a+b or rhizotonic?

yeah skip the a+b. rhizotonic is okay as well but for future grows i can assure you that you can grow excellent bud with just a+b,cal mag and worm castings. no need for rhizos or all those expensive additives. i use Foxfarm big bloom wich is organic and have a 15 galon plastic bucket with like 50 gold fish, i use the waste water to feed the plants and they love it and best of all its FREE!!!
