This is my first time growing ganja using the most basic set up with a 1.2 x 1.2 x 2.0m tent and 600w HPS. Some tips and guidance from the cannabis community will be much appreciated..

Need more info to advise anything. You're DWC, cool. How many sites? Basic DWC or re-circ? Describe your setup, fans, what's your water like? what nutes are you going to use?
So im working with a 3 x 27ltr bucket system including rez. Air pump and air stones going in each bucket and water pump pushing the water in a circular motion only. I have a 125mm fan with carbon filter. I currently have a 20w led sitting over top of my seedlings maybe 4inchs away. Seedlings are still sitting in the tray after about 5 days of germinating. I will post pics very soon

I'm also using the whole canna range because where I am we are limited with nutrient products. I know hydroguard is a must but I cannot find that anywhere.. im using tap water for my grow and having water sitting in and 50ltr bucket with a air stone clearing out the chlorine. Our water sits at 80ppm (truncheon) straight from the tap

Screenshot_20200831-122252_Chrome.jpg1 and 2 have had there root come through the bottom. And 3 still has no root. 2 of these seedlings will be transplanted into DWC. I initially germinated 3 seeds just incase one didn't make it but all three sprouted

Over sprouting makes me cry. Your new little one looks up at you like 'Hello world!' And we have to look down and say 'I'm sorry, I have no room for you.' You could overcrowd and try for a "sea of green".
In full disclosure, I'm fairly new to growing myself, and am always looking to improve my techniques, and you're 3 for 3 right there. I presume you sprouted your girls in their cubes, how? I've read everywhere that rock wool really likes to hang onto it's moisture, how often do/have you watered them?

Also I know there are a few non-growers that are members so be careful who you listen to about your girls. I found out the hard way front plant, healthy. Rear plant: poisoned after following some bad(on him) and unverified(on me) advice. The second is one of my current girls and let me tell you, this one is a fighter. She almost died on me.

Yeah man this is my first time growing anything so I don't really know what to look at tbh lol. I had the led up way to high because I didn't how high to hang it to start with hence the stretch.

I started the germination in a paper towel then put them in the rockwool after they popped. And I think I over watered 3 because it was really droopy a day or so ago

I was reading about how to help my girls in the last few days of flush since she won't have any nutrients. And it mentioned sugar water. It didn't say what medium it works in, it didn't state the sugar to water ratio and it didn't state when to add it. So I added 1/4 cup(~32g) to a gallon(3.8L) of water, boiled and cooled. Added that to another gallon of r.o. water and filled her bin. 2 days later she looked like that. I had to harvest her 2-3 weeks early to salvage something. It killed her roots, more brown than the nutrient staining, slimy, and had a SERIOUS funk to the smell. It might work in coir, it might work in soil, I don't know. What i did learn was that it most certainly does NOT work in DWC.

Thank you for the info. I now know never to attempt such a thing haha

I can't seem to get a grow completed without my girl(s) suffering some sort of major trauma.
Pineapple Express, poisoned just before harvest, salvaged what I could.
Northern lights, overfilled res and bashed her into her light getting her out to remove excess solution. Survived harvest in 2-3 weeks.
Mimosa, dried out. If you try this strain be warned, she is sucking down about a half gallon of water a day. This lady likes to DRINK. survived. About 5~6 weeks to harvest

its been a week since I transplanted the seedlings. 1 in soil and 2 in dwc. You can see the soil is doing alot better than her 2 sisters. The 2 in dwc have stopped growing and I don't know why. They have a lime color to them with brown spots underneath the leaves and roots aren't really coming through the net pot but are visible. Water level is about 1inch from net pot.

Res temp: 22°c
Ppm: 350
Ph: ranges from 5.5-6.120200906_213751.jpg20200906_213720.jpg20200906_213706.jpg

Could be the bucket/ planter. Those things are huge for plants so small. One reason your soil girl is doing better right now is that her food isn't washing away. That hydroton isn't the greatest at keeping moisture and nutes up where a seedling can use it, you'll probably need to top feed them til their roots touch solution. I would hit them with a spritz or two every few hours, just water, no nutes. That should help with their sluggish growth.

Before I left for work I moved the hydroton out of the way to get to the rockwool and it's soaking wet? Could it be a overwatering problem? I'm thinking it could be that the rockwool is staying wet for a long periods of time. Idk.. ill let the rockwool dry out abit and give the girls straight ph water no nutes
