First Grow - Advice needed.

First grow indoor under cfls. Unknown strain 2 weeks into flower. I've had to bend top over as per photo as only have small grow room. Is this ok or should I cut it back? I know cfls aren't ideal and will upgrade to led when cash allows. How does plant health look overall? Will definitely lst my next attempt.

Excellent keep doing that!

Nice job, theres many people around here with much better lights / setups and think/post like they know everything , yet their plants dont look as good as yours. I think your doing great.

if you ain't got a lot of room tie it down.

my first grow was in a cardboard box, yes CARDBOARD BOX, under a desk in a studio apartment with CFLs. Tied that thing down all over the place and the bud was ok....

CFL's will work fine for most grow box type set-ups. don't change to LEDs just because you read they were better.

they're more efficient at producing light - which lowers electricity costs but they are fairly expensive for casual grow ops.... don't go out and buy a LED unless you are sure you will re-use it...

Looks like they're doing well. Tie them down to help with vertical space as they grow bigger and taller. You might consider SCROGGing for this purpose, though if it's your first grow I'd understand wanting to stay basic. As long as you aren't downright snapping stems, LST'ing won't even slow your plants down, so bend and tie away. If you do accidently snap a stem, don't fret, just take it easy on that branch/stem until it recovers. Some do this on purpose and refer to it as 'Supercropping'...
