Okay okay, so I'm still not 100% ready, but this is the direction I'm going.
Just bought a 12 bulb badboy and a 400w mag ballast for a CMH I want to put right below the flouros with no hood attached. I was wondering if the flouros are going to make the CMH too hot, or if I'd have to pull the flouros too far away from the canopy for them to be really effective for this to work. I'm going with promix bx and the 3d organics line of nutes (freebies) in 2 gallon smart pots. The strains I'm growing out are DNA's RockLock and some GreenCrack. I was planning on 6 of each in just over a 3X4' area. Any thoughts on how I can make grow more efficient or any way I'm totally screwing myself? I have reps from nute company to talk to for feeding schedule and some experienced friends to ask questions, but I think RIU could give me a fresh perspective. Thanks for the interest. Peace!
