Nice little setup. I like to put plastic sandwich bags over my seedlings and have the CFLs within 1-2 inches of the plants w/ a fan circulating air in the room (my seedling area is a box of similar dimensions, half the height). Starts them off nice and strong. GL

This box is just under 2 1/2 feet tall my plan is when they get halfway to the lights i'm gonna start to flower them as long as theirs enough nodes.

I like the plastic bag idea that's a great little tip and i have read that being able to move the lights especially CFL's is optimal it just was not in my budget for this certain box I already have an idea about making a 2 stage box out of an old Armour my parents are getting rid of, vegetative in the bottom and flowering up top. Plus its hard to see in the pictures i have 3 fans working 2 in the bottom circulating air in and one up top pulling it out.

Yes that's exactly what i'm doing i actually have an old motherboard screwed to the back to that the fans are plugged into thanks for the power converter tip it would probably make the box a lot cleaner looking.

Fix your lights onto a bar (chopped broomstick works well) and hang it from the top of the box so they can be raised/lowered easily.

I think you need to lower those CFLs to within 2-3" of the plants. This will provide more light, and help reduce stretching.

Someone earlier mentioned using some boxes to raise the plants closer to the lights so this is what i did.

Because i think im getting some stretching which i don't want because id like to flower these with the same setup. And the space in the box wont work with some monster plants.

That cheap black foam weather stripping works well. It comes in different widths and thicknesses and comes on a roll. It is adhesive and sticks nice. It will create a pretty tight seal on there. It only costs around $5.00 a roll and would doo your whole cabinet.

This rubber seal rockymtnman mentioned also works pretty good at keeping the bud-smell where it should be.

Those are great ideas for sealing off the light thanks alot for the tips. If i get this to work though i already have plans for an armour my parents are getting rid of so i can have the veg in the bottom with two sides one for a mother plant and other side for new seedlings / clones and then using the top area for flowering now they just need to move so i can take it.
