First Grow - CFL's / Stealth

First grow, Decided to go with cfl's.

4 x Seeds. - unknown origin. ;)
Soil is Miracle Grow - Moisture control

Lighting:
4 - 42watt CFL (2,700 lumen each)


Total of:
160 Watts
10,800 lumen

After Germ and sprout we have ignition.
All 4 Sprouted
Day 3:

Let me know if you guys have any input or questions.. I still have all 4 plants but the other 2 are outside.
I just topped these two in the cab lastnight and started LST.. I dont have a alot of head space so im going for a sog type grow.

hey man, your plants shouldnt be on a 12/12 cycle until you start flowering them. Im not sure how this is going to effect the overall outcome, but they should be on a 24/0 or 18/6 for vegging and then 12/12 once they're mature and are showing sex.

well no, they r just gunna start flowering thats it, u need to get them on a 18-6 or 20-4 (on/off) schedule fer veg theyr probally in flowering right now!:lol:! but u can pull em out just switch em! and r they showin sex, they should if ur on 12\12 tho???

Im new to growing i've just started mt first grow.

i was wondering from germination all my seeds cracked and produced a root i planted in soil but its been 24hrs and nothing has surfaced i have my lights on 18/6 how long until you see some activity? i think i might have messed up somewhere.

Any help would be much appreciated

Dont worry about it yet.. The first couple weeks are the most stressful so far for me.. Just let it do its thing but make sure the soil isnt too wet or dry.. Give it a few more days, you'll see some sprouts.

I germ a little different then most.. See i take my seeds, place them in a clean, sanitized, pill bottle that is completely lightproof (IMPORTANT) with fresh rain water or equv.. Then once 2-3 days is past or if you tap the seeds most should sink.. Thats usually a good indication that the seeds are ready to be born..

UPDATE: Week 3 again:
Just put the 3rd plant with the first 2 in the cab to begin LST.. Ive tied them all down toward the light.. This is the best way i figured to do it... Once again this is my first grow and im just following the advice of you fellow growers. So any input is welcome...

Yo man, Im a professional grower with plenty of experience and willing to give you any info if you need it. You should research this site and look at a lot of other peoples cabinet grows. I generally maintain medium/large grows with up to 24 plants producing around 2-3 pounds. From what I see you should make a flowering box with at least a higher roofing. there's a lot of ways to make very inexpensive flowering boxes. your grow is very limited in space and I want to see you at least produce a couple ounces. check this grow out. its hydro but its a really cool stealth grow. he uses a trellis to control growth around the light.

Ok i need some help!!! lol

Let me bring you to speed.. Ok, So i topped the plants 2 days ago (dunno if i did it right, refer to pics.) and then this one started to looking like it was not doing so well.. I have a timer for my lights but i havent been using it, i usually just turn them on when i wake up @ 8am and they go off at 8pm.. But lastnight i got hella drunk and passed out om my couch so the lights where on ALL NIGHT when they are usually off.. Could this just be a little burn/dryness from the lights??

Also please comment on my topping job, i feel i f'ed it up somehow.. Thanks guys.

NAW dood ur fine! next time u should just pinch it off make it more natural, like nature did it! but u just practicaly cut its head off its gotta divert all those hormones and build the ones u cut off

ok so i did top it right?? btw i used my fingers after i washed them..

But the leaf curling thing is ok? Seems like a issue is developing and i want to catch it before it gets bad.. XD

ok another quicky, i want to start using my timer but i dont want to hurt the plants by switching the lighting schedule. They were at about 10-14 hrs a day , but i want to switch to 18/6

Are these plants to far along now to switching lighting?? i dont think they are flowering nor do they show sex so i should be ok right?

Turns out i topped them right cause i have 4 main colas for each plant now.. also they all turned out to be girls. :D
